Attempt at Family Portraits.

It was so nice outside yesterday!  I was in the mood to take some pictures, and was going to be taking some of a friend/neighbor. I then got the bright idea to have her try and get some pictures of the four of us. We don't have many because my son does NOT like the camera. I'm pretty sure he is traumatized from all of the pictures I took of him while he was a baby. Anyways, I don't know what made me think anything would change yesterday...

He crossed his arms and refused to look at the camera.

He yelled at me, and purposly messed up his hair.

We thought taking some with little sis, might induce some jealousy.

But that just pissed her off.

So we took a couple by ourselves.

We ended up with this shot.

Not bad. Even though the little turd still isn't looking.

I did get a couple cute ones of Leanna though.

On a different note. Sweet Cheeks tried cereal for the first time yesterday...

and LOVED it!

Baby Knuckles.

I could stare at them forever.
No, it's not thier sweet little feet.
Or tiny fingers and toes.
Not my babys' beautiful blue eyes.
Or even even their fat rolls.
The kind that are in places that you didn't even know rolls could exist.
Like the middle of their forearm.
While all of those things are so precious, and I love looking at them too.
My absolute favorite is...
A baby's knuckles.
Ahh...I just love them.

Just thought I would share.

Oh, and my husband and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary Saturday!

So, I just was proof reading my post. (I don't like to sound like a complete idiot.)
But I realized that the begining of this post sounds like a poem.
I swear I didn't mean to do that.
I'm just that good, I guess.

Onsie Makeover, and Fleece Shawl.

I found this onsie that Sweet Cheeks wore on New Years.
Since she could really only wear it that one day,
I decided I was going to change it up a little.

I added a sweet little Scottie dog to cover up what was already on it

These pictures are terrible, I know.
But she wasn't in the best of moods.
Plus, I was running late and needed to start getting ready for work.
Plus, Plus, her 6 chins are covering the poor doggies head.
Plus, Plus, Plus...Just kidding.

I also made a fleece shawl type thing to go over it.
This picture really doesn't do it any justice.
But it is super cute and it was super easy to make.

I can't remember for the life of me which blog I got the tutorial from.
But when I do remember, and I WILL
because it's going to bug me until I do,
I will share it with you.

So this blog isn't really a "fun find"...
except that I found the onsie in the bottom of one of Sweet Cheeks' drawers...
and it was pretty fun to make.
But I am participating in "Friday Fun Finds" over at kojodesigns.

Strawberry Dress Redo

When shopping a sale rack my eyes begin to blur,
and I don't even see what I am buying.
I just start grabbing stuff.
If it's cheap, I buy it.
Which would explain why I bought this size NB dress
for my daughter that was born in December.
She can't exactly fit into it anymore.
So I took a plain onsie, and turned it into a bigger dress.
One that will fit my chubby girl.

However, the dress was really hard to get on over her chubby cheeks.
In fact, I had to put it on her by putting her legs in first.
So, I am thinking about just making it into a skirt instead.

It was cute while it lasted though.

Our Week.

So as I am sitting here adoring my precious little girl and all of her sweet "coos" and giggles, I think to myself, "How in the world did I get so lucky?" She turned three months old just the other day, and I can't believe how fast she is growing. I told myself that with her I was going to stop and take everything in. Try to make it last. However, it seems to be going by even faster than it did with Car-man. I am just so thankful to have them both in my life!

So anyway, these last couple weeks have been full of sickness and doctor appointments.
I'm hoping we are all back to our normal selves for awhile!

Here is my car-man, looking all handsome.
It's so hard to get a picture of this big ball of energy.
He NEVER sits still.

Still trying to potty train.
But I'm thinking we're just gonna have to wait till HE is ready.
He will do super good one day, and not want anything to do with the toilet the next.

She had to go get her "2 month" shots this past week.
Of course, a month late. Because that is how I am.
ALWAYS procrastinating.

She also get her brace.
She'll have to wear this for about 20 hours a day until she starts crawling.
Then she will have to wear it at night and during naps.
She will probably have to do that for a couple years.
But hey, whatever fixes her foot!

Always has her tongue out.

I've also got quite a bit of cleaning done this week.
All of my "crafties" are organized and put away.
So, I can finally get started on some projects! YAY!

Oh, and I almost forgot. I got sweet cheeks' ears pierced this week.
I will leave you with this fantastic picture of her while getting them pierced.

Am I a terrible mother?
